Detox: Day 4


Here is your Day 4 menu. **Please note that sweet potato has been added to this menu.

Going forward we will continue adding more starches/carbohydrates and proteins to our regimen. Keep your current supply list stocked and add skinless chicken, no salt tuna, idaho and sweet potatoes, squash, hummus For Day 5 and onward. Your vegetable, fruit and tea selection may grow but always keep enough green and oolong tea, bananas, and grapefruit handy


1. Blend together  1 banana + 1 handful of blueberries +1 cup vanilla soy or rice milk and 1/2 cup of ice  to make a breakfast shake +  2 hard-boiled eggs + 1-2 cups Green Tea

Mid Morning Snack

2. Toasted Whole wheat English muffin  drizzled with honey and 1 tsp almond butter (optional)


3. 1/2 cup Chickpeas (drained and rinsed if canned) ,1/4 cup raisins,  1/4 cup diced avocado and 2 cups mixed greens  drizzled with EVO and balsamic vinegar+ 1.5 cup low sodium chicken or vegetable broth +  8-16 oz water or Crystal light

Mid afternoon snack

4. 1 cup of oolong or green tea+ 1 piece of fruit + 1 handful of walnuts


5. 4-6 oz of baked fish over a large bed of steamed vegetables ( apprx. 3 cups)  dressed with lemons, onions and red pepper flakes+ 1 small baked sweet potato dressed with cinnamon+ 1.5 cups of vegetable or chicken broth+ 8-16 oz water

Bedtime Snack

Green or oolong tea
