Day 2: low-fat detox

Standard

Breakfast

1. Scrambled eggs ( 4 eggs + 4 egg whites+ 2 oz low-fat feta cheese, 1/4 tsp salt , 1/4 tsp ground black pepper, 3 tbsp chives + splash of low-fat milk). Scramble in pot coated in no-fat cooking spray +  served atop 1 cup spinach and 1/2 cup sugar snap peas+ 1-2 cups green or oolong tea

Mid morning snack

2. 2 organic whole grain fig cookies + 1 cup fat-free milk or enriched milk alternative

Lunch

3. Antipasto salad w/ 1 cup white beans, 4 hearts of palm, 6 olives, 3 slices roasted red pepper, 1 tbsp olive oil + 8-16 oz water

Mid afternoon snack

4. handful of nuts or seeds

Dinner

5. 3-4 oz grilled fish served w/ medium sweet potato sprinkled with cinnamon+ 1 cup steamed broccoli

After dinner snack

Tea + 1 handful of whole grain crackers
