Day 3: Low-fat detox

Standard

Breakfast

1. 1 cup oatmeal simmered in 1 cup of fat-free, soy or almond milk and seasoned with 3 tbsp raisins,a dash of cinnamon, 2 tsp honey  and topped with 2 tbsp crushed walnuts+ 1-2 cups green or oolong tea

Mid morning snack

2. 1 grapefruit drizzled w/1 tbsp honey

Lunch

3. 1 small baked potato topped with 1/2 cup tuna salad prepared w/reduced fat mayonnaise + 1 pear+ 8-16 oz water or Crystal Light

Mid afternoon snack

4. 1 tbsp nut butter + 4-5 celery sticks + 1-2 green or oolong tea

Dinner

5. 2 cups steamed cauliflower + 2/3 cup quinoa or brown rice + 4 oz chicken breast seasoned with 2 tbsp chopped onion, 1 sprig thyme and 1/8 tsp salt,  saute chicken in  1 tbsp olive oil

After dinner  snack

6. 1 tangerine + tea
