Day 6: low-fat detox

Standard

Breakfast

1. 2/3 cup whole grain cereal served in fat-free milk or milk alternative + 1 pear + 1-2 green or oolong tea

Mid morning snack

2. 6 oz plain fat free yogurt topped with 1 tbsp honey + 8-16 oz water or flavored water

Lunch

3. 3 cups fresh mesclun salad with chopped tomato and sliced green bell peppers and 1/2 can of reduced sodium tuna ( fresh is better!) + 1 piece of fruit + 8-16 oz water or flavored water

Mid afternoon snack

4. 8-10 low sodium crackers + green or oolong tea

Dinner

5. 2/3 cup organic low sodium wild rice + 4 oz lean steak + 1 cup steamed broccoli

After dinner snack

6. green or oolong tea
