This race was one of my favorite experiences because I got to spend quality time with a few of my best pals. The race itself was set in a rambling public park space featuring really rural terrain. Think red clay mud, steep rocky hills, trees everywhere and meandering streams. There was absolutely no frills, barely any amenities and quite a number of people feeling the pain. Luckily, my girls and I were not among them! I give this race a 3.75 out of 6 because it was expensive and I expected more swag for the money. I took away most of the points because of the lack of emergency personnel to help the ill and fainting participants.
